Gonadorelin is a synthetic version of the naturally occurring gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) that is produced in the brain’s hypothalamus–the primary link between the endocrine and nervous systems. GnRH stimulates the release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) from the pituitary gland. These hormones are also called gonadotropins and are essential to the normal functioning of the testes in men. In men, they stimulate the testes to produce sperm and testosterone.
